Lingyan Ran received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU), Xi'an, China, in 2011 and 2018. Earlier, he was a visiting scholar in Stevens Institute of Technology (SIT), Hoboken, NJ, from 2013 to 2015. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Computer Science, NWPU. His research interests include image classification, semantic segmentation, and change detection. He is currently a member of China Computer Federation (CCF), China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG).
