Lingyan Ran received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU), Xi'an, China, in 2011 and 2018. Earlier, he was a visiting scholar in Stevens Institute of Technology (SIT), Hoboken, NJ, from 2013 to 2015. He is currently a Professor with the School of Computer Science, NWPU. His research interests include image classification, semantic segmentation, and change detection. He is currently a member of China Computer Federation (CCF), China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG).
